Rome’s Ciampino airport closed due to a fire

ROME (Reuters) – Rome’s Ciampino airport, used by budget airline Ryanair, was closed on Tuesday due to a fire in the terminal, the company managing the site said.

“The airport has been closed as a precaution,” a spokeswoman for Aeroporti di Roma (ADR), said.
