AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – The Netherlands’ government on Monday confirmed it is repatriating two children of Dutch nationality from a Syrian war camp.

The pair were orphaned children of an Islamic State fighter, the foreign and justice ministers said in a letter to parliament.

Reuters reported the repatriation earlier on Monday, citing Kurdish officials.
